Harley-Davidson Inc. will repair faulty clutch systems in 105,000 of its 2014 model motorcycles to prevent the bikes from accidentally creeping forward.
The campaign covers Electra Glide Ultra Classic and CVO Road King bikes. The Milwaukee-based company reports 19 low-speed crashes attributed to the defect. Dealers will rebuild the clutch master cylinder.
Harley-Davidson also will replace as many as 1,400 leaky fuel tanks in a separate batch of 2014 model bikes. It reports no fires or injuries linked to that flaw.
