China's Great Wall Motor Co. will resume sales of its flaw-plagued Haval H8 large SUV in April after twice suspending deliveries to fix product problems, sources tell Bloomberg News.

The 200,000-yuan ($31,900) model debuted in November 2013. But Great Wall withdrew the H8 from the market two months later to fix what it described as eight "significant" flaws. The company resumed taking orders last April. It soon postponed deliveries again, this time to fix a powertrain noise.

The embarrassing quality problems have punished Great Wall's stock price. They also have raised questions about the company's ability to compete in an SUV segment heavily dominated by European brands.
