GM’s Board Gains 5th Female Director
Linda Gooden, a former executive at Lockheed Martin Corp., has joined the General Motors Co. board as its fifth woman, second black and 13th member.
Linda Gooden, a former executive at Lockheed Martin Corp., has joined the General Motors Co. board as its fifth woman, second black and 13th member.
Gooden, 61, is a past White House appointee of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. She retired from Lockheed two years ago, where she was executive vice president of information systems and global services.
Gooden began her career at GM's former Packard Electric Div. after earning a degree in computer technology at Youngstown State University, and a B.S. in business administration and MBA in business administration from the University of Maryland.
