GMC is counting on new products and an overhaul of its entire current lineup to accelerate growth. Last month the brand signaled an interest in adding such models as a small crossover and a "lifestyle" SUV akin to the iconic Jeep Wrangler.
GMC's volume has been expanding for five years, rising 13% last year and 23% in the first two months of 2015. Among GM's four brands, GMC is considered the most profitable. The unit's trucks and SUVs command higher prices than their Chevrolet-branded siblings.
