GM to Sell Corvettes in Korea

General Motors Co. will begin selling Chevrolet Corvette sports cars in South Korea on May 4, Bloomberg News reports.

GM will offer an unspecified small number of the cars at a price of 86.4 million won ($76,300) more than 50% higher than the U.S. sticker price.

The Corvette will be Chevy's ninth new model in Korea since the country signed a free trade agreement with the U.S. last year that halved the tariff on American-made vehicles to 4%.
