General Motors Co.’s venture in China is preparing to recall more than 3.3 million Buick, Cadillac and Chevrolet models to fix a suspension flaw, Reuters reports.
The campaign targets vehicles made between 2013 and 2018, according to China’s State Administration for Market Regulation. Shanghai GM Ltd. tells Reuters that a severe impact could deform a suspension arm, which would affect the vehicle’s handling characteristics.
The recall is expected to begin on Oct. 20. GM reports no injuries caused by the defect.
