General Motors Co. has reassigned several of its top designers. All changes took effect on June 1.
Bryan Nesbitt, formerly head of design for GM China, is now global head of design for the Buick brand. He replaces Andrew Smith, who led Buick and Cadillac design and will continue in the latter role.
Nesbitt's successor at GM China is Ken Parkinson, previously design chief for Chevrolet trucks and a former head of design for GM International operations in Shanghai.
Parkinson's departure from Chevy puts John Cafaro, already head of Chevy cars, in charge of cars and trucks.
