Sales through the first 11 months of 2014 totaled 3.18 million cars and trucks, surpassing GM's full-year record of 3.16 million in 2013.
Last month's sales advanced 7% to 156,100 units at SAIC-GM-Wuling and 5% to 149,700 units at Shanghai GM. Demand for light-duty commercial trucks made by the company's FAW-GM venture plunged 29% to 4,300 units.
