General Motors Co. reports worldwide sales of 9.84 million vehicles in 2015. The increase of only 21,000 units was enough to notch the company’s third consecutive year-on-year record high.

GM says gains in North America (+6% to 3.61 million) and China (+5% to 3.61 million) offset declines in Europe (-6% to 1.18 million), South America (-26% to 645,200 and elsewhere (-5% to 794,600).

Global demand for the company’s Chevrolet brand fell 7% to 4.42 million units last year. Sales also dropped for Wuling (-8% to 1.46 million vehicles) and Holden (-2% to 117,000).

But full-year deliveries in 2015 climbed for Buick (+9% to 1.23 million), Opel/Vauxhall (+3% to 1.13 million), GMC (+11% to 679,500), Baojun (+173% to 463,500) and Cadillac (+8% to 277,800).
