GM Names New Treasurer and Head of Finance
General Motors Co. has appointed Dhivya Suryadevara vice president of finance and treasurer, effective July 1.
General Motors Co. has appointed Dhivya Suryadevara vice president of finance and treasurer, effective July 1. She will continue as CEO and chief investment officer for GM Asset Management.
Suryadevara will succeed Niharika Taskar Ramdev, who had been named to the post a year ago. Ramdev, a 19-year veteran of the company, will become chief financial officer for GM International, which operated in nearly 100 markets outside China and North America.
Suryadevara joined GM 10 years ago in treasury. As head of asset management, she manages about $80 billion in assets related to the company's pension plans.
