GM Names New Head of Global Manufacturing
General Motors Co. has appointed Tim Lee as vice president of global manufacturing, effective immediately.
General Motors Co. has appointed Tim Lee as vice president of global manufacturing, effective immediately.
Lee succeeds Diana Tremblay, who becomes vice president of North American manufacturing. She now reports to Lee, who retains his role as president of GM's International division, a unit that includes China, South Korea and Russia. He will continue to report to Chairman and CEO Dan Akerson.
In his new role, Lee will have worldwide responsible for GM's manufacturing operations, including manufacturing engineering, labor relations, safety and manufacturing planning.
