For the first time in months, the fund did not expand the number of eligible claims against fatalities linked to the faulty switches beyond the previous week's 124. Payments for catastrophic injuries also remained unchanged at 18.
The fund reports a sharp drop in the number of claims awaiting further data to 285 from 453 on July 10. The team aims to complete its reviews by about the end of August.
