GM Ignition Switch Fund Accepts 3 More Injury Claims

The death toll linked to General Motors Co.'s defective ignition switches remains unchanged at 124 this week. But the fund handling claims against the flaw has increased the number of accepted injury claims by three to 272.

The fund continues to await details on 149 claims currently considered deficient. The group has ruled as ineligible 3,797 of the 4,342 claims it received before the compensation offer ended on Jan. 31.
