The General Motors Co. fund handling compensation for victims of the company's defective ignition switches has now cleared 67 death claims for payment offers.
The General Motors Co. fund handling compensation for victims of the company's defective ignition switches has now cleared 67 death claims for payment offers.
The fund also has agreed to compensate 113 people injured in crashes attributed to the switches, up by five.
The fund is still reviewing 1,492 claims submitted before the Jan. 31 deadline. It has ruled 820 other claims ineligible.
