General Motors Co. has acquired the 10-story former headquarters of the Lowe Campbell Ewald ad agency in Warren, Mich. The agency moved to Detroit in January.

GM will use the 150,000-sq-ft facility primarily for office space to augment its huge technical center across the street.

The sale, which occurred last month, was first reported by Crain's Detroit Business, which estimated the undisclosed price at $2 million.
