Ghosn: Renault Could Disappear

CEO Carlos Ghosn tells French radio broadcaster RTL that Renault SA could disappear "in its current form" if its home auto market continues to deteriorate.

Ghosn declares in an interview with France 24 television that Renault has no current plans to shed employees in France. But he says job cuts will be unavoidable if the country's economy does not improve soon.

COO Carlos Tavares told Reuters last week that the company will ask its unions to for concessions to avoid widespread layoffs.
