The optimism of German companies this month slipped from February's 10-month high as uncertainty about the EU bailout of Cyprus revived fears about the region's debt crisis, according to the Munich-based Ifo Institute for Economic Research.
The group's business climate index fell to 106.7 from 107.4 last month, marking the first decline in five months. The institute's gauges of current and future expectations also dropped in March.
