Gasoline Prices Fall in U.S.

Americans are paying an average of $3.85 per gallon for regular gasoline, according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report. That's one cent lower than a year ago, marking the first year-over-year drop I the average price since October 2009.

U.S. gasoline is at its lowest price since mid-March. AAA says prices have dropped 5 cents per gallon in the past week and 9 cents from its 2012 peak in early April.
