Former Hyundai Exec to Head Nissan Global Sales

Nissan Motor Co. has hired Allan Rushforth, currently chief operating officer for Hyundai Europe, to become its corporate vice president for worldwide sales.

Rushforth, 55, will leave Hyundai on Oct. 21, but Nissan has not said when he will begin his new assignment. The Brit worked at Rover, Land Rover and Audi before joining Hyundai seven years ago.
