Former GM Marketer Starts New Firm
Mike Jackson, former General Motors marketing chief for North America, and Las Vegas-based marketing agency R&R Partners have established Jackson & Partners in Detroit to provide marketing services to auto dealers.

Mike Jackson, former General Motors marketing chief for North America, and Las Vegas-based marketing agency R&R Partners have established Jackson & Partners in Detroit to provide marketing services to auto dealers.
Jackson is CEO and will work with partners Gary Topolewski, a veteran advertising executive, and Randy Easterbrook, a communications consultant and former Broadway actor.
Topolewski was a senior creative director at such ad agencies as Leo Burnett and BBDO Detroit. His accounts included Buick, Cadillac, Jeep and Nissan.
Jackson was GM's senior vice president for marketing until leaving mid-2007. He became head of sales, marketing and distribution at electric-vehicle startup Coda Automotive. Earlier in his career Jackson worked at Coors Brewing, Coca-Cola and PepsiCo.
