Former FCC Commissioner Kennard to Join Ford Board
William Kennard Ford Motor Co. has named William Kennard, who chaired the Federal Communications Commission between 1997 and 2001, to joint its board of directors on Jan. 1.

Ford Motor Co. has named William Kennard, who chaired the Federal Communications Commission between 1997 and 2001, to joint its board of directors on Jan. 1.
The 57-year-old Kennard will replace Homer Neal, who has reached the board's mandatory retirement age.
Kennard was U.S. ambassador to the European Union between 2009 and 2013. He also sits on the boards of AT&T, Duke Energy and MetLife.
