Former Dura CEO Denton Joins Design/Engineering/Construction Firm

Auto industry veteran Larry Denton has been named president of the process engineering practice of Dearborn, Mich.-based Ghafari Associates LLC.

Denton is a former Ford executive who later became president of Dow Automotive and later Dura Automotive Systems. Most recently he was president of Nobel Automotive.

His new assignment returns Denton to his engineering roots. He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Michigan State University, a master's degree in science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Ghafari is a global architecture, engineering, consulting and construction services firm with offices in North and South America, the Middle East and India.
