Ford’s UAW Workers Get $7,500 Profit Sharing Payments
Ford Motor Co. says some 54,000 of its hourly workers who belong to the United Auto Workers union each will receive profit-sharing checks averaging about $7,500.

Ford Motor Co. says some 54,000 of its hourly workers who belong to the United Auto Workers union each will receive profit-sharing checks averaging about $7,500.
Last year UAW workers at the company received $9,000 checks. U.S. hourly workers at General Motor and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles received average profit-sharing payments in 2017 of $12,000 and $5,000, respectively.
Ford’s net profit last year jumped by two-thirds to $7.6 billion. But its operating profit dropped 18% to $8.4 billion.
