Ford Motor Co. is recalling 75,400 of its 2014-2015 model Explorer SUVs in the U.S. to replace rear suspension components that could break and cause a loss of steering control.

Ford Motor Co. is recalling 75,400 of its 2014-2015 model Explorer SUVs in the U.S. to replace rear suspension components that could break and cause a loss of steering control.
The affected rear toe links were incorrectly welded and can fracture, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. All affected vehicles were produced at Ford’s assembly plant in Chicago.
