Ford Sales in China Slide 6%

Ford Motor Co. and its partners delivered 77,100 vehicles in China in July, down from 81,900 a year earlier. It was the third consecutive month of year-on-year decline.

Car sales by Changan Ford Automobile fell 4% to 57,700 units in July. Deliveries of commercial vehicles by Ford's venture with Jiangling Motors dropped 12% to 17,100 units. Sales of imported Ford vehicles declined 3% to 2,200 units.

Ford's cumulative sales in China through July totaled 620,600 units, down less than 1% compared with the same period in 2014.
