Ford Sales in China Rise 2%

Ford Motor Co. reports car and truck sales through its two ventures in China expanded 2% to 100,800 units last month compared with November 2013.

The increase reverses a 1% drop in October. Deliveries for January-November were just above 1 million units, up 20% from the same period last year.

Ford says its ability to meet demand in China is hampered by limited production capacity. The company added 300,000 units of capacity in June when it opened a $350 million assembly plant in Chongqing.
