Ford Sales in China Climb 5%

Ford Motor Co. reports its retail deliveries of passenger vehicles in China last month rose 5% to 114,800 units. Volume in the first quarter of 2016 climbed 14% to 314,500 units.
Car sales by Changan Ford Automobile grew 12% to 84,300 vehicles in March. Deliveries by Ford’s commercial vehicle venture, Jiangling Motors Corp., dropped 8% to 29,000 units last month.
Ford’s Lincoln luxury brand sold 5,500 vehicles in January-March, three times its volume in the same period last year. The brand now has 37 dealerships in China.
