Ford Motor Co. plans to recall about 313,000 of its 2003-2005 model Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis large sedans because their headlamps could stop working. Almost all cars are in North America.

The callback will replace lighting control modules. Ford says the electronic devices contain soldered electrical connections that could crack and cut off power to the lights. The company reports 11 accidents and one injury related to the flaw.

Separately, Ford is launching three minor recalls in North America to replace:

  • Front seatbelt retractors and pretensioners in 3,200 of its 2015 F-150 SuperCrew pickup trucks
  • Rear axle shafts on 1,300 dual-rear-wheel versions of the 2015 model Transit van
  • Rear park brake air chamber in 177 of its 2016 model F-650 and F-750 heavy-duty pickup trucks
