Ford cites the country's skilled labor and "extremely good" infrastructure. The company says it will double its orders for Moroccan-made steering wheels, seat covers and vehicle wiring.
Morocco produces more than 200,000 cars per year and exports most of them. Last year the country shipped €3.7 billion worth of vehicles, the Associated Press notes. AP says cars now account for about 20% of all Moroccan exports.
