Ford Motor Co. tells Bloomberg News it expects to add 13 markets to the 37 it currently supplies from India by 2018.
Ford made 106,500 vehicles in India and exported 29,300 of them in the fiscal year ended March 31.
The company is building a second assembly plant in the country that will boost its annual capacity there to 440,000 units, according to Bloomberg. Ford added the locally produced EcoSport small SUV in India in June.
