Fields, Ghosn to Headline CES

Ford Motor Co. CEO Mark Fields and Nissan Motor Co. CEO Carlos Ghosn will deliver keynote speeches at January’s CES event in Las Vegas.

Ghosn will kick off the consumer electronic show’s opening day, Jan. 5. Fields will speak at the "Leaders in Technology" dinner on Jan. 6. Fields, who has participated at several CES events, gave the keynote presentation in 2015.

This year’s show, which runs Jan. 5-8, will cover 2.4-million-sq-ft with displays ranging from handheld devices, video games and drones to large consumer appliances and vehicles. About 210,000 sq ft will be allocated to cars and trucks, up 15% over last year. Much of the increase will be used for self-driving vehicles.
