Fiat SpA will introduce its replacement for the Linea compact sedan on May 21 at the Istanbul auto show, Automotive News Europe reports.
The car will be followed in 2016 by a hatchback variant to replace the Bravo. A wagon is expected later. All three variants will be produced through FCA's Tofas joint venture with Koc Holding AS. The partnership expects to make a combined 700,000 of the models by 2014.
The new Lineas will use Fiat's "small-wide" platform that carries the Fiat 500L long-wheelbase minicar, Fiat 500X crossover variant and Jeep Renegade small SUV.
