Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV unveiled the 2017 Fiat Fullback midsize pickup truck at this week’s Dubai auto show.

The rear-wheel-drive model, essentially a re-badged version of the Mitsubishi Triton/L200, is Fiat’s first body-on-frame truck. It has a 118-inch wheelbase and is 71 inches wide—overall length and cab/bed configurations will vary by region—with a 2,400-lb payload. Fiat styling cues are apparent in the grille, front bumper and alloy wheels.

In the Middle East and Africa, three engines will be available: a 132-hp 2.4-liter mill and two (110 hp and 178 hp) 2.5-liter diesels. Transmission options include automatic and manual 5-speeds.

In Europe, power comes from a 2.4-liter diesel (150 hp or 180 hp) mated with either a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional.

Sales will begin next spring in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and other global markets. Currently there are no plans to sell the Fullback in the U.S.
