Ferrari NV plans to join the shift to all-electric models, but not until sometime after 2022, says Chairman Sergio Marchionne.

Earlier this month, Marchionne told shareholders a fully electric Ferrari is “not relevant” at the moment. The company’s only electrified model to date was its V-12-powered LaFerrari supercar, 700 of which were made between 2013 and 2016.

The company won’t unveil its first production full-hybrid car, a V-8-based model, until the Frankfurt auto show 18 months from now.
