February Car Sales Surge 13% in France

Registrations of new passenger vehicles in France rose 13% to 166,700 units in February, according to trade group CCFA.

Renault and PSA Peugeot Citroen posted monthly gains of 15% to 52,800 units and 10% to 59,000 vehicles, respectively.

Volkswagen Group sales rose 8% to 21,900 units in February. FCA Fiat Chrysler gained 14% to 10,100 units, led by a 17% increase in deliveries of Jeep SUVs. Ford deliveries rose 8% to 9,900 vehicles.
