FCA Starts Pacifica Production in Canada

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV has officially launched production of the all-new Pacifica minivan at its overhauled factory in Windsor, Ont.

The 2017 model will begin arriving at dealerships in about one month. FCA claims the Pacifica will offer un-minivan-like styling with ride and handling characteristics akin to those of premium sedans.

The Windsor plant opened in 1928 and has been devoted to minivan production since 1983.
