FCA Recalls Older Jeeps for Suspension Flaw

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV says it will recall 325,800 older-model Jeep Liberty SUVs worldwide to replace rear suspension parts that could break.
FCA says the Liberty’s rear lower control arms that can accumulate water inside, corrode and break. If that occurs, the SUV’s handling would be significantly impaired.
The company says it is aware of one crash that may be due to the defect. The recall to replace the control arms is expected to begin in June.
