Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV plans to launch 30 new or refreshed models over the next two years, attendees at FCA's annual dealers' meeting in Las Vegas tell Automotive News.

AN says the event included a "parade" of many of the upcoming models, highlighted by an all-new Dodge-badged Barracuda convertible and next-generation Charger sports car.

The two Dodge models will ride on the same rear-drive platform as the upcoming Alfa Romeo Giulia, according to the report. Dealers also saw a new Alfa SUV that will use the chassis.

Chrysler produced the original Plymouth Barracuda in coupe and convertible variants from 1964 to 1974. Rumors have circulated for several years that the carmaker was working on a new Barracuda.

The new Charger displayed in Vegas reportedly was well received by attending dealers. The car is said to resemble Dodge's sporty Charger R/T concept from 1999.

Among the other vehicles shown at the annual event were a trio of Jeep SUVs: the next-generation Wrangler, a Grand Cherokee SRT Track Hawk fitted with a Hellcat engine, and a high-end Grand Wagoneer that can seat as many as eight people. The long-rumored Wrangler-based pickup truck wasn't shown.

Dealers saw several new Alfa and Maserati models too, AN says. FCA also unveiled regular and Abarth performance versions of the Mazda-based Fiat 124 Spider.
