Most carmakers say their sales in Canada fell in July. One exception: Ford, whose deliveries grew 10% to 29,800 units.

July sales for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles shrank 14% to 28,500 units. General Motors saw demand drop 7% to 22,300 cars and light trucks. Honda’s volume declined 4% to 16,900 vehicles.

Last month’s results contrast with June’s 7% gain to a record 191,100 vehicles, according to analyst Dennis DesRosiers. Separately, Scotiabank predicts Canada’s full-year market will reach 1.96 million units in 2016, compared with last year’s record 1.90 million units.
