The number of fatalities attributed to defective General Motors Co. ignition switches by GM's compensation fund has grown to 74 from 67 last week, according to program administrators.
The fund also increased accepted injury claims to 126 from 113. The program says it has deemed 1,025 claims ineligible and is reviewing 1,326 others.
