Jaguar's F-Type coupe will make its global public debut at the Los Angeles and Tokyo auto shows Nov. 20 and will go on sale next spring.

Based on the F-Type convertible that debuted this summer, the fixed-roof model will share three powertrains with the drop-top: two 3.0-liter V-6s rated at 340 hp and 380 hp, and a 495-hp 5.0-liter supercharged V-8. A limited-edition, 550-hp track-focused version is also in the works, according to reports.

The coupe closely mirrors the styling of the C-X16 coupe concept revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is unclear whether the coupe will get the concept's hybrid powertrain.

Technical details and pricing will be released following the introduction.
