F-Series Work Truck’s Cupholders Runneth Over

Ford Motor Co. is introducing a 'four-barrel' cupholder system in its 2017 F-Series Super Duty trucks.

The double-decker design, which Ford says it has patented, transforms a standard two-cup unit into one capable of holding four cups in the front center console. The design stacks identical holders one above the other with a storage bin adjacent. User can simply slide the upper panel over storage bin to double the availablel cupholders. A lower storage tray on the left side can be removed to create even more space.

The all-new five-seat Super Duty work trucks will have a total of 10 cupholders. Ford will introduce the 2017 model this autumn.
