Eaton Names New Chief Technology Officer
Eaton Corp. has appointed Ramanath Ramakrishnan to take over as executive vice president and chief technology officer on June 1.
Eaton Corp. has appointed Ramanath Ramakrishnan to take over as executive vice president and chief technology officer on June 1.
Ramakrishnan succeeds Lennart Jonsson, who has held both titles since 2010. Jonsson, who is retiring, will remain with the company until June 15.
Ramakrishnan joined Eaton from General Electric in 2005 and currently is senior vice president of technology for the company's industrial sector, which includes vehicles. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio University.
