Ford Motor Co. is recalling 212,900 of its 2011-2013 models Ford Explorer SUVs to replace door latch springs that could come loose and allow a door to pop open in a crash.
Ford Motor Co. is recalling 212,900 of its 2011-2013 models Ford Explorer SUVs to replace door latch springs that could come loose and allow a door to pop open in a crash. The campaign includes Police Interceptor variants of the Explorer.
The campaign covers vehicles in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. Dealers will inspect and repair or replace all four interior door handle assembles as needed.
