As expected, Ford's F-Series fullsize pickup truck was the top-selling vehicle in the U.S. through the first six months of the year. The nameplate has led the nation for 32 straight years.

Japanese-branded models accounted for six of the top 10 models. Honda led the way with three vehicles on the list, followed by Toyota and Ford with two apiece. By segment, there were four midsize cars, three fullsize pickups, two compact cars and a small crossover vehicle.

The top 20 selling vehicles through June are:

2: Chevrolet Silverado fullsize pickup (275,822)

3: Toyota Camry midsize car (215,816)

4: Ram full-size pickup (212,716)
