Domenicali to Head Lamborghini Brand

Former Ferrari Formula One team chief Stefano Domenicali has been named to lead Volkswagen AG’s Lamborghini supercar unit, effective March 1

He replaces Stephan Winkelmann, who will take over as head of Audi’s Quattro GmbH performance operations. Winkelmann, who has run Lamborghini for 20 years, doubled the unit's sales and more than tripled revenue.

Domenicali, 50, joined Audi in November 2014 after Ferrari’s disastrous 2014 season after 23 years with the company.
