DeVito to Head Tech Operations for Eaton's Vehicle Group

Eaton Corp. has appointed Gerald DeVito to become vice president of technology for its Vehicle Group, effective Nov. 1.

DeVito, who will be based in Galesburg, Mich., will be responsible for all engineering activities for the unit. He is past director of engineering for Eaton hybrid systems and most recently was director of next-generation transmissions for commercial trucks in North America.

DeVito joined Eaton 27 years ago. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Western Michigan University.
