Denso Names New CEO, COO for Americas

Denso Corp. has named Kenichiro Ito to be chairman and CEO of its Denso International America Inc. unit in Southfield, Mich. His new assignment will begin on June 21.

He succeeds Sadahiro Usui, who has been appointed CEO of Denso International Europe BV. Ito previously headed corporate accounting, business innovation, finance and planning at Denso headquarters in Japan.

Denso also announced that Hisaaki Sato will become president and chief operating officer for the American operations. He is swapping jobs with Kazumasa Kimura, who will replace him in Japan as executive director of global business development and sales for the company’s Chubu and Hiroshima sales divisions.
