Dana Drops “Holding Corp.” from Its Name

Dana Holding Corp.’s name will change to Dana Inc., effective Aug. 1.

The company will retain its diamond-shaped logo and DAN symbol on the New York Stock Exchange. No organizational or leadership changes are involved.

Dana made the announcement after reporting its sales in the second quarter slipped 4% to $1.5 billion, and net income attributable to the parent company dropped 10% to $53 million. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization dipped 1% to $178 million.
