Daimler Moves U.S. Headquarters to Michigan

Daimler AG is relocating the headquarters of its North American holding company from Montvale, N.J., to Farmington Hills, Mich.

Daimler North America Corp.'s move will affect about 30 legal, accounting, treasury and executive positions, according to the company. The group will be housed in a building that also contains about 400 employees of Daimler's North American financial services.

The move follows an announcement earlier this year by Daimler's Mercedes-Benz USA unit to relocate from Montvale to Atlanta. Daimler says the Michigan move is unrelated.
